Our Admissions Committee utilizes a holistic evaluation process. While academic credentials are fundamentally important, we place equal weight on a candidate's executive trajectory, leadership resilience, and their potential to drive positive, ethical change within their respective industries.

Executive Doctor of Business Administration (Executive DBA) 

Candidates applying for the Executive DBA must demonstrate a robust foundation of both academic and professional achievement:

• A recognized Master’s degree (or equivalent international credential).
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of significant managerial, executive, or entrepreneurial leadership experience.
• A clear, preliminary vision for applied research that addresses a contemporary global or industry-specific challenge.
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) to support rigorous doctoral-level research and communication.

Postdoctoral Fellowship 

Candidates applying for the Postdoctoral Fellowship must meet the highest standards of academic readiness:

• A formally recognized doctoral degree (Ph.D., DBA, or equivalent terminal degree).
• A proven track record of academic or professional research.
• A comprehensive concept for an advanced, independent research project intended for global publication.

We have streamlined our admissions framework to respect the demanding schedules of our global applicants. The process moves dynamically from initial evaluation to active research.

Step 1: Formal Application & Initial Evaluation 

Candidates must submit their completed application form, current curriculum vitae (CV), academic transcripts, and the non-refundable application fee of CAD 500. The Admissions Committee will conduct an initial review to ensure the candidate meets the baseline academic and professional standards of the university.

Step 2: Acceptance & Research Proposal 

Candidates who successfully pass the initial evaluation are formally accepted into the university. At this stage, you must submit a structured Research Proposal detailing your intended area of study, methodology, and expected outcomes.

Step 3: Interim Supervision & Proposal Refinement 

Upon submission of your proposal, SABI University will assign an Interim Academic Supervisor. You will collaborate closely with this advisor to refine and elevate your research framework, ensuring it meets the university’s rigorous standards for doctoral or postdoctoral study.

Step 4: Specialized Supervision & Research Commencement 

Once your final research proposal is approved, you will be paired with a Specialized Supervisor—a senior faculty member or Principal Investigator whose expertise directly aligns with your topic. This marks the official commencement of your research journey (a maximum of 24 months for the Executive DBA, and 12 months for the Postdoctoral Fellowship).
